Zuvoo — On-Demand Home Services App

An emerging home services startup needed a consumer-grade mobile app to compete in India's on-demand cleaning market. The app had to handle complex booking workflows — tiered service packages with dynamic add-on pricing, real-time service provider tracking with ETA, intelligent time slot management, a full post-service experience (ratings, tipping, referrals), and a subscription model (Zuvoo Pro) for recurring customers. The brand demanded a distinctive, personality-driven UX with witty microcopy and a mascot-led identity that could differentiate them in a crowded market.

Designing and building a full cross-platform app with React Native and Expo, deployed to both iOS and Android from a single codebase. The onboarding flow collects city, home type, and service preferences to personalize the dashboard from the first session. Built a complete booking engine supporting 4 service categories (Home Cleaning, Bathroom & Kitchen, Sofa & Mattress, Move-in/Move-out) with tiered packages (Standard, Deep Clean, Full Intervention), real-time add-on pricing, and a date/time slot picker with morning and afternoon availability. Integrated Google Maps SDK for live service provider tracking with animated ETA markers and route visualization across four tracking states — confirmed, en route, in progress, and completed. The post-service flow features a 5-star rating system with contextual labels, celebration animations for perfect ratings, in-app tipping with preset amounts, and a referral system with personalized shareable codes offering dual rewards. Implementing Zuvoo Pro subscription tiers (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual) with progressive discounts up to 30%. Backend powered by Node.js with Firebase for real-time updates, push notifications, and OTP authentication, with Redis for caching service availability and slot management.
